This record is so massively epic. I downloaded it last year, but am just finally getting around to giving it a serious listen. Holy. Fucking. Shit. These guys have set out to shake the mountains and ended up tilting the axis of the Earth. What a brilliant, exhilirating album.

stupid question which doesn't pertain to Amia at all... how do I get an avatr to show up when I post comments? I've been perplexed by this for years, and haven't ever asked because im sure it's a moronic inquiry.

: D I love you...

...almost as much as I love this album (see how clever I am, bringing the discussion back to the band in such a fluent manner? Oh hot damn).

the way the guitars crush and cleans gel together at 6:08 on Nicholas is absolutely breathtaking

The clean vocals really bring this down a few notches for me.

The cleans are awesome on this. Perfect amount, too. Not too much, not too little.

Same here. They could definitely get better but these are still good.

the most exciting thing about this band is this is only the beginning...they could potentionally be a lot better than they already are.

I agree^. This album is phenomenal already, and to imagine what they're capable of by building upon their existin formula is insanely exciting.

Or they could hit a sophomore slump................. but I'd rather not think about that.
