Can obviously tell a lot of work went into this album, unlike M2M which was one the most bland rock albums I've ever heard.



Band needs to decide where to go and stop wavering around the "new" and "old" stuff. Which is pretty much what Living Things was.



Just go in one direction.

This album really fucking grew on me. I wanted to hate it because it was not Hybrid or Meteora and it reminded me too much of MtM which sucked hard so I didn't even want to give it a chance but after the second spin I actually kinda wanted to try it again and then again...

Hybrid theory rapes this. As a concept album its flows well. But half of the songs here are really bad, example: Robot Boy, Messenger.

I know I'm in the minority here, but I give them credit for having the balls to try something like this. I hated it my first listen, but I loved the second time. If every album was HT than LP would get boring REALLY fast. That's just me though.

I think it's awesome haha and I don't normally like electronic shit. It's just a unique experience. HT will always been in a special place for me though.

And NapalmCrusader, did you just say Robot Boy is one of the bad songs? It's like we aren't even of

the same species. You are listening to this the wrong way if you can honestly say that. Don't treat it

like an extension of HT. Approach the album like it is a new band's first album, or a reborn version

of Linkin Park.
