I just love Kim Gordon in general

Her personality as a vocalist is just fun as hell

Does this sound simple?

Fuck you, are you for sale?

Does 'fuck you' sound simple enough?

I don't know, I think it gets on easy preachy territory in lines like "She says she'll talk to the spirits/I wonder if she can talk to herself/If she can bear to hear it" and "I can't see anything at all, all I see is me/That's clear enough, that's what's important/To see me". Most of all because it is written on first person from another guy's point of view (whoever's Eric) who apparently can't say "me" without affecting his voice to the point that it becomes completely grating. This guy is having a trip, let him be, Lee. haha, that said, there are some good images here and there, but it is probably a low point on Daydream Nation for ME (read on Lee's irritating emphasis).

Ranaldo also sings Hey Joni, so, we're cool.

@hadeser
I guess I see what you mean by ‘preachy’ , but idk I think that kind of tone works when the subject of the song is something normally seen as taboo/something you don’t talk about publicly. It’s a pretty refreshing attitude I think, especially in ‘88

Who cares if it's preachy? Lyricists have beliefs and it's okay for them to show those beliefs

I never got why preachy is a bad thing unless you specifically don't like what they're preaching

I bet six agrees with me on a lot

Which is annoying because I believe that I'm supposed to hate him (as per Sput's unspoken laws?)

Don't listen to Ars. He hasn't made eye contact with me for over six years.

That boy holds a grudge.
