The vocals on this album define epic. Come on. You just need to listen to the first track to find out.

I love this album and band dearly but I must say the vocals definitely have flaws.

I think Greg's a good vocalist most of the time. Sure, he gets pretty nasally on some of the higher notes, but it's infrequent enough to not really interfere with the music. At least for me.

He's also out of tune sometimes, but yeah most of it is minor stuff.

sure the vocals have flaws, but for the most part, the vocals on this record are some of the best in metal and hardcore

"i liked his voice best back when he was the deformed neck child of reznor and patton on miss machine"

he still sounds quite a bit like Patton on his cleans to me...which is probably why I like it so much.

the lyrics are trash...oftentimes bordering on lol...the harshes ain't too bad but those who claim the cleans are anything but poor are silly...

His cleans aren't great but I think they usually work well in the context of the music.

I think Good Neighbor might have become my favorite song here...attempting to teach it to myself on drums right now. Shit.

The immense ending of 'Room Full of Eyes' never fails

Room Full of Eyes might be my least favorite, and it still kicks a decent amount of ass. Still can't decide if this is better than Calculating Infinity or not.

As much as I enjoy this album, it really isn't in the same conversation as Calculating Infinity, since CI was so fresh and inventive. Oh yeah, and a track named 43% Burnt that has one of most memorable riffs/breakdowns of all time.

Calculating Infinity is undeniably more important and innovative, i'm just speaking in terms of personal enjoyment.

43% Burnt is probably their best song though, either that or When Good Dogs Do Bad Things.

The breakdowns in I Wouldn't If You Didn't and Widower are fucking incredible. Goosebumps every time. I can't wait to see either one of these live.

Always been a mid-level fan of Dillenger Escape plan. Not my favorite band by any means but this album is probobly their best in my opinion.

The song "Widower" really caught my attention, kinda reminded me of smashing pumpkins (circa-Mellon collie & infinite sadness ) in some odd way.

Farewell mona lisa is a really great opener track. Loving it.
