I don't understand why this site isn't more popular. UI always seemed so much cleaner here than over at rym.

They didnt. Low Teens is easily the weakest of all their albums. I like all of their albums but their last three get overpraised. Ever since Ex Lives theyve been going hard on the Converge worship, even actually getting him as a producer for FPU, and while I do love Kurts production I feel like its given them less of what makes them special. Their 2000s material contained their best riffage.

Good choice, hot damn is either my 2nd or 3rd fav. Hot damn and ex lives switch back and forth for me.

Agree to disagree. I also really like their older stuff, but I think it's not even touching their stuff since Ex Lives regarding performance and songwriting. But I understand your point too. Terrific band nonetheless.

LIES.

"Ever since Ex Lives they've been going hard on the Converge worship"

LIES. (Although A Strange Loop sounds like a Converge b-side)

"Their 2000s material contained their best riffage"

Ok true, Big Dirty is a riff machine along with Hot Damn!

I really don’t understand the Converge comparison.

They’re both big names in hardcore but that’s where the similarities begin and end.

The bands couldn’t be more distinct.
