I feel In Rainbows is way easier to listen to for my radio-pop friends. Maybe if it were the 90s, sure.

Radio-pop friends would probably find almost every song on In Rainbows to be too weird or slow for them, I could at least see those same people jamming to High and Dry since it sounds like Coldplay to an extent.

Bends is 2nd best Radiohead for me, and easily the most accessible.

I love Planet Telex, My Iron Lung, and a few others, but with time I'm coming to the conclusion that The Bends really isn't nearly as great as most people say it is.
The mellow songs on there are REALLY outshined by almost all of the mellow songs that came later. Like How to Disappear Completely, All I Need, Backdrifts etc are just so much more interesting

Yeah I just think it gets overlooked because its incredibly solid 90's alt-rock, whereas their latter works are more experimental, even branching into electronic. I could accept an argument for any of their albums except for Pablo being their best.
