I was a bit harsh before, even at their worst they aren’t ever that bad really. I’m just really hoping with their upcoming releases that Green Day will be dropping this young adult, teenage style that they’ve adopted for the last eight to nine years, it’s a bit tiresome now. I mean c’mon guys, it’s time for a change, even if it's just a small one like the loss of the eyeliner.

I wouldn't mind the young adult, teenage style if they were...you know, young adults or teenagers and had something half relevant or poetic to say. But they're not, and they don't. They're middle aged and relying on cliches. Maybe if the pop punk they were doing now was even half as snotty and rebellious as their early work then it would be cool, but it isn't, it's just boring and cliched and tiresome in all the wrong ways. They look like they realized they were getting less popular after Warning, and they made the conscious effort to try and dress, act, talk, and make more stereotypically "punk" music, which is quite honestly the least "punk" thing you can fuckin' do. I hate to be "that" guy who calls someone a poseur and I rarely if ever use the word, but that's pretty much what this band has become.

/Rant.

This album blows. American Idiot was ok.

This band turned to shit after Warning.

Dookie & Insomniac are their best.

"I don't wanna live in a modern world!"

"American Eulogy" is the only good song on this album. I'm also pretty sure he says the "N" word that

us white people cannot say in that song hahaha. Rest of it is blah.
