Bloodmeat, Bone Marrow, and the rest of the album from Wretch on.

I think Sequia Throne and Spoils are the worst songs.

Yeah, I went ahead and bumped this up because this is all I have been listening to as of late. this is a modern classic of not only technically-challenging and musically-impressive but music that grasps you by the throat and just doesn't let go. Most of this record is just beautifully done. The parts that aren't beautifully done are heavy and just kick your ass around the room. I'm in love again with this band. Except for that like... 3 second falsetto part from rody. thats one of those "never ever do that again" kind of things.

Yeah I'm gonna go ahead and say there are no bad songs on this.

and the breakdown in Sequoia Throne when Rody screams "We are still life in cold blood and we feel nothing" is so epic. This Message Edited On 02.07.08

There aren't any, I was just saying those two are the worst out of a completely good song filled album.

Tough to choose a favorite part, I think it may be that part in the about a minute and a half into PAlms Read, the "All the Young People who took a leap without faith into a riverbed that drowns about as much as it saves" part, so catchy. But the crazy harmonized leads that are played under the verse in Bone Marrow (3:04-3:14) and the orgasmic shredding about half-way into Goddess Gagged (starting at 1:34) are also up there.

I'm gonna come out and say it, i love the album but bloodmeat just sucks. I didn't like it that much before the record was released but thought maybe once the album was released I would get into it more, but whenever i pop the cd in i immediately skip it. I've given it a chance and it's just a bad song. That felt good.

Wretch and Goddess Bound are incredible, but Spoils and Goddess Gagged were kind of let downs.

I disagree, Goddess Gagged and Spoils are awesome, my 5th and 6th favorites respectively.

Goddess Bound on the other hand, is the only letdown on the album imo.

I'm not saying that Spoils and Goddess Gagged are bad songs, but they don't look nearly as strong with songs like Bone Marrow and Wretch lurking about.

Well, they're obviously not as good as Bone Marrow or Wretch, but I prefer both of them to Bloodmeat, the Dissentience, Sequoia Throne, and Goddess Bound.

CANT believe no one mentioned the 2:10 and on part of spoils....like the best most uplifting part of the entire album....

bloodmeat is just predictable and as the review sais "the safest on the album". Too safe in my opinion. However, the rest of the album makes up for it greatly so it doesn't bother me too much.

Good point, forgot to mention that part.

I also love the "Deep Within the Corpus Curse, Conscience Human Race" part, I love how it transitions from screaming to growling.

It's predictable because it's the most Kezia like. I'd say it's safe, not predictable, but you can see where he's coming from.
