"there are more inc. version of the tracks that were released on saw1 that will come out on re-release one day hopefully, so saving those for that."
Sounds like SAW 85-92 is gonna get a re-released with some bonus tracks eventually.

Well it was recorded directly onto tape I believe. I wonder if there's a way that RDJ could remaster this.

It has been remastered. The version I bought today is a 2008 digital remaster on CD.
According to RDJ the reason why the production quality is off in some spots is because his cat mangled the original tape! Who knows whether it's true or not of course...
