I used to think this had the worst guitar tone ever recorded, but then I realized it actually has the best guitar tone ever recorded

Nah, it still has the worst guitar tone ever recorded

It’s definitely missing some oomph, but I got used to it. I think Paint a Picture sounded extremely dry to my virgin ears, like I really wanted to give the vocalist a glass of water and a losange. The guitars need a nice moisturizing lather as well

anyone who hates this guitar tone should check from the shadows, it makes this tone sound like demanufacture's tone in comparison

Its like the snare tone on all idols fall before the hammer. By comparison to other stuff it sounds worse but in a vacuum it gives the album a very unique charm

The bass on this slaps, sometimes literally. The riffs tho, man the riffs. Explained Away is such a bop. Engrossing atmosphere here. I like the vibe and honestly the shitty prod probably helps.
Our Reunion goes hard
...still a three way battle between this, Killing Tech & Mental Vortex for the embarrassing (by association) title of Demo's thrash winner

Yeah it’s sick, this band’s bassist is super talented. I say that as a bass player myself tho, so I always enjoy some busy bass. I gotta give this more listens, but as of right now, Screams and Whispers is everything I wanted this to be and more.
