the first two were just terrible sigur ros attempts at pop songs then it was all familiar waters.

boring waters, too. that "festival" song was the most annoying thing i had listened to in ages when the album came out

Listening to Valtari, although very good has only influenced me to put this album on repeat over ten times in the last 2 days. Insanely beautiful music, so hard to believe this album has been out this long.

only half way through track 1 on my first listen. i already feel overwhelmed with emotion.



edit: so after listening to half of the album i rated this 4. after listening to three quarters of the album i bumped it to 4.5. if the last song blows my brains off i might make this my first 5.0 after a single listen.
