patterns in the ivy is beautiful. harvest is kinda boring and dirge for november is somewhat forgettable but the rest is perfection

Harvest is perfect, can't get enough of it. But yeah, Dirge For November is on the weaker side indeed... Still a 5 for me ;)

The metal section of Dirge is my least favorite part of the album, but damn the opening and closing of that song are gorgeous

All the best parts of Dirge happen to be the parts without growling vocals, but it doesn't bother me. Still a perfect song, and the intro and outro are beautiful as Pleb said.

I could go on and on about how much I love Drapery, it's just so beautiful and unique. I'll never understand people who complain about it dragging.

I've always thought that it was the weakest song on the record, but it's still a pretty sweet track.

The weakest heavy is probably The Funeral Portrait or Dirge, but I consider every song pretty much perfect so idk

"funeral portrait is one of the best"

I feel it's underappreciated, riffs like a motherfucker, although I wouldn't say it's one of the best, it kinda tails off in the second half I think.

Also beef your avatar is amazing

^ yea. so damn underrated. everyone spooges over drapery and harvest which are pretty damn snoozeworthy. funeral portrait kicks a lot of ass for Opeth standards and the fucking dual guitar outro solos are perfect

Leper Affinity would be their best opener if not for April Ethereal (yes, it's better than The Moor.)
