i prefer deja's balance between its uptempo moments and its softer moments. devil is just more of a downer, overall, for me. i don't mess with daisy too much

Deja doesn't have lots of happy moments either man haha it's just covered up with more upbeat moments.
Daisy is a bit of a grower though. It's kinda hard to take in on the first listen.

it's not really about "happy" per se, just the feel of the songs for me balance out better. obvi it's mostly a sad/introspective album, but it just doesn't carry itself that way. probably because they were still making the transition from pop-punk, which is why devil has that more serious tone to it
