Pink Cellphone isn't that bad but I can understand it destroys the album flow somehow. I think it is okay to delete it out of the album, since Chino admitted that SNW were just different recorded parts put together. And you can clearly hear that it is lacking coherence

Adrenaline with the production of ATF or Diamond Eyes would be rad. The only "not that good" album when it comes to musicianship is Gore imo. I would also recommend to check out "Covers". Gave that vinyl the first spin in years and damn that shit rocks.

My probs w/ Adrenaline have little to do w/ the production. Though you're right, the sound of ATF & Diamond Eyes certainly doesn't hurt those albums

Koi No Yokan could've made that tier had it not included songs like Entombed and What Happened to You.



ATF is great for nostalgic purposes--but still too reliant on a sound that's outdated, even by Deftones' standards.



Everything else is average to forgettable.



Still my favorite band growing up, though.

Aside from White Pony, I don't really see much of a quality difference between each record. ATF, Self-titled, SNW, DE, and Koi are all solid 4s for me. Adrenaline and Gore are the only outliers that sit at 3 or under.
