I love how you stuck that good 'ol Sput staple of sludge in there... oh wait, that's not really true. Is that because Cult of Luna is/was at no.1 and you needed to 'represent' it somehow? You also forgot indie folk and female singer/songwriter/art pop nonsense. Screamo, post-hardcore, pop-punk etc.

In fact the user voting is arguably more varied than the top of the chart. Not all of it is good mind, that's another matter entirely - plus I can't argue against Sput's taste in metalcore being generally terrible.

"plus I can't argue against Sput's taste in metalcore being generally terrible." kinda disagree though...the thing is that the genre itself is messy and generic, and at the same time it can be satisfying, depending on how it hits you...you can't argue that Converge (although tag as metalcore is debatable) is most love band on sput from the genre, and that's not bad/ generic at all ;)
