I agree with all of that but it's still a 4.

how exactly is Sergio’s playing worse than Chi’s? I feel like it’s such a common complaint but nobody can ever provide specifics because it’s bullshit. Sergio’s bass work have always suited their modern sound

And the production and Steph’s tone on here and KNY are literally the exact same, not really sure what you mean there.

Sergio's playing technically is great and he suits the bands sound well, but nothing he has contributed is nearly as memorable for me as stuff like cherry waves, konami code, hole in the earth, needles and pins, etc. Chi absolutely makes those songs for me, and i can't think of any track where Sergio has done that for me except maybe "swerve city".

Honestly I still find KNY's production to not be it's highlight or as strong as some of it's previous outings, but it's still a slight step up from this for me, and I akin that to there clearly being different engineers and mixers at the helm. KNY also tends to showcase Chino a bit more, but overall i just feel the songwriting is better as a whole.

Don't see how im a moron either, I mean they liked the dude who handled some of the production on KNY enough to bring him on as the head guy for GORE.

They all started to become useless on this album, but redeemed themselves on the next one, and then became useless again on the one after that

if y’all can’t hear frank I’d question whether or not you actually like the band in the first place.

They did a good job of removing the bass off this album agreed. It's like a modern day AJFA mix
