i feel like my friends and i suffered from adele overload from someone like you and rolling in the deep so i listened to set fire to the rain fewer times than those two. i figure that might be why it sounds better than her other songs---it's fresher. idk

I worked at a retail establishment that played pop radio, so I got to hear Adele singles 1-2 times a day, 5 days a week for a pretty extended amount of time back when she first got popular, as well as Katy Perry and Bruno Mars. I have heard The Lazy Song so many times, the thought of hearing it again makes me a little sick.

Yeah, The Lazy Song is probably one of my most hated songs of the last 5 or 6 years.

It's one of the reasons I hate the radio, but I think it's mostly because of my location though. Radio stations aren't very varied in the mid west from what I have heard so far. It's basically all pop, hip hop/rap and shitty rock music.

It's also one of the reasons I like listening to stuff that isn't really considered "mainstream." That way, I don't get sick of it until I want to stop listening to it, not because the radio shoved it down my throat by overplaying it.

123 (@six). @Ecnal that blows man. The rock stations here in SoCal are pretty solid. They aren't

playing anything that won't make the Billboard's Top Alternative Rock songs (or whatever) but those

are pretty solid. The commercial pop/rap ones though I feel you. Being forced to listen to them would

be mindnumbingly bad.

The rock stations around here play stuff like Disturbed, Hinder, Breaking Benjamin, 3 Doors Down, The Killers, Three Days Grace, Godsmack, Papa Roach, etc.

If you catch my drift...

Once in a while I get to hear something like The Black Keys, which I actually like, but it's few and far between.

@Ecnal really? Wow that really sucks. I remember in 9th-10th grade how annoyed I was finding out that some Three Days Grace song was #1 on the rock charts but they never played them on the local rock stations here. Now that I've outgrown them I realize how fortunate I am to pretty solid alt rock stuff on the radio.

Fuck people. She is lovely person. Not that fucking matters, her music rocks. Although red is okay except for trouble which rules.

Also country is pretty much a main staple around here. And I am a firm believer that the last 10 - 12 years of country music sucks complete ass. Especially the stuff that seems to be trending within the last year or so like Eric Church, Jason Aldean and Florida Georgia Line, just to name a few.

Haha Cyg, I don't know or care if her personality is good. Her music has a certain niche of fun and digestible music while still being of relatively high quality for pop, and honestly that's enough reason for me to listen to her.

You know I find it funny that most of the time the people that complain the most about hipsters are the most pretentious. I have a friend that absolutely hates Skrillex but then some other girl he tried to show me that also makes shitty brostep but plays violin over it is apparently his favorite artists CAUSE YOU KNOW THROWING A VIOLIN IN THERE CHANGES EVERYTHING RIGHT.
