Better Lovers is playing the exact same venue in December so I hope they’re not cunty about how rough that show is gonna be, Foxing is daycare compared to the mayhem that that show is gonna be

It’s honestly amazing. Like for how long these guys have been going at it… Conor literally sounds better than he did a decade ago

Yeah… idk the foxing fan base can be really weird. Like honestly, most people I’ve met are chill, but way back when they were doing the DDTM release show in STL, I was crowdsurfing and some chick literally punched me which knocked me to the ground, all because my mask slipped under my nose, and I’m pretty sure they were literally not allowing people that weren’t vaxed

Like covid made people forget how to fucking act at shows I swear. And all the tik tok kids basically made the knocked loose show probably the lamest crowd I’ve ever seen at a hardcore show

what the actual fuck dude, that blows

That’s what I’m saying. Like, fuck crowd killers but if you don’t wanna get pushed a little at a sold out show move to the fucking back. Not the fucking barricade. And they’re the fucking hometown heroes basically, of course the crowd is gonna be wild

This bitch literally started going off on me like I was moving the crowd all by myself. And it wasn’t even some dumb kid, she had to have been in like her 40’s. Or she just looked like fucking dogshit, which would reflect her personality.

I’m so fucking pissed I missed Hall of Frozen Heads

Now I get to explain to everyone a fucking black eye. And like not even in a cool way

“Oh yeah this lady elbowed me and I got kicked out of a show for it! great time!”

And like I said, Better Lovers is literally playing the same venue in like a month. They either need to get their fucking shit together or they’re gonna end up kicking out half the crowd. Like I’m seriously at the point where I might just not even bother with going to shows there anymore. I was crowd surfing at a knocked loose show back in may and when I got to the barricade the fucking guard basically suplexed me and I banged my head directly on concrete, got a fucking concussion. not the same venue but they’re both owned by the same guy and have the same security team

I'm sorry to hear that happened.

I took a week and half off from this and I'm already back. In addition to being a 5/5, it's also one of my personal favorite albums and one of the most endearing from a band that I've grown to love. Could be an all-timer for me, and it's no exaggeration -- it's like everything I ever loved about heavy/mature Brand New but even wilder and guilt-free.

I’m glad man. Ngl I’m still very bitter over that, I missed Rory, The Medic, and Hall of Frozen Heads. The first two, honestly, I’ve seen them live enough to not really be that upset over it. But man when I heard Hall of Frozen Heads from outside of the venue I almost cried.

Still aoty for me. Gratitude still soty for me, Conor got right in my face for the “I wanna hear god yelling at me” part and that’s why I’m not even really that mad. They played most of the album and that’s all I really wanted.

Still shocked at the lack of Kentucky McDonalds tho, that would fucking rip live

'I think they were afraid of a lawsuit because of a black eye so they booted me. Idk.'

I would bet everything I have that the lady was just complaining about you and made some shit up so they kicked you out too. Easier not to deal with everyone involved sometimes, as backwards as that sounds. She sucks.

Our boys getting the recognition they deserve. NMG was my favorite album of the decade then, and I know we’re not even halfway through this one, but this record is probably my favorite of the decade so far.
