It feels very strange indeed. This album has hit very hard jamming it today. Particularly Black Rose Immortal and To Bid You Farewell.

Best 'Peth acoustics, agreed.

Agreed hard Futures. One of the few times that has happened.

I actually like the acoustic work here more than the heavier portions. Also the bass here is unbelievable
|
| |
The acoustic work is better on here, but the metal sections are better on Orchid

Nice to see some trvth in this thread.

Yeah I could see my rating going up in time.

I agree that the overall acoustic playing here is improved over Orchid and it might the best on an Opeth record. But I have to say though, my favorite acoustic Opeth section is the one in The Twilight Is My Robe - Just about tops the best parts here.

My favourite acoustic parts are in the night and the silent water. Especially around 3:30. So gorgeous

9:40 and onwards in Black Rose Immortal is my favourite acoustic part and the best part on the album imo. and the riff at 13:37 (h3h3) is one the greatest riffs ever

The one at 9:40 in BRI is reminiscent of 3:35 in Twilight' and also a favorite. Oh yeah, and that riff, also in BRI at 13:38 - Goodness... but that whole section from 12:21 to 14:44 is too good.
