one of the members of the national said that part of the charm of "boxer" is the hi-fi drums next to a bit of lower-fi other stuff. (somewhere around chapter 13 of the 33 1/3 book about the album)

2022 was the best year I can recall for album releases, and Preacher's Daughter was Top 3 for me and a very worthy number 1. Just grew and grew and grew as the year went on. Well done Sputnik staff!
