Ian Kenny being the worst part of Karnivool is one hell of a searing hot take.

Dismissing Jon Stockman like that is even more insanity.

Song is bog-standard Northlane but Ian Kenny shines on it. His voice is like silk to my ears.

"Ian Kenny being the worst part of Karnivool is one hell of a searing hot take"

how?

how is he not objectively the least interesting part of the band when their instrumentals shine so brightly?

even if you tolerate and overhype mediocre interchangeable everyman vocalists, as sput is prone to... how?

i don't get it.

Implying Ian Kenny is a mediocre vocalist is just idiotic. Sorry.

And he was fucking amazing when I saw them live for the first time last year! Can't wait to see them again this summer.

Eh, I guess I could agree with him being the least interesting part just because they are phenomenal as a whole, but I don't agree that he's bad at all, I adore his voice.

I just keep replaying Ian's part during the bridge. Two lines but it's just so good. Then you immediately hear the weird ass distortion added to NL's screams. Again, don't feature someone who can easily outclass you in your own song.

Ngl I didn’t expect much from it. None of the singles wowed me. Gonna be more of the same but less good. Glad it’s an EP tbh
