I wish they supplemented more of the slow and brooding moments with rippers like "Pushing the Tide" but I just have to accept that it's a different beast from anything they've put out previously.

I'm pretty much saying I like this, BM and Leviathan about the same (all [4]), Remission and CtS a little less (both [3.5])



This does what it does very well, surprised me, this is them having a polished and more mainstream sound without it being 'The Hunter' and for that we can all be grateful - plus I have mucho respect for double albums, always rate a good double album that big higher cos effort (on their part)

Idk I like Eyes of Serpents. Dagger, the cringe of Had It All, the stagnant verses in Sick and Peace, and the annoying "I FORGE AHEAD UNSCARRRRRRED" in Skeleton of Splendor are my top skips in an otherwise great album
