it was kinda a vibe tbh and warmed me up for another Love’s Easy Tears listen. I also listened to the first track of this and it was pretty decent but felt like it was missing something

it just needs thiccer production, more drowned out vox... better songwriting.. yeah idk it needs a lot but at the same time it's real damn close to being amazing

Yeah, I´ve tried a bunch of times because some people whose opinion I appreciate were praising this, but it´s not doing much for me.



I mean, good on them for trying some new things and developing some aspects of their sound that were already there but kind of ashamed, there´s 2 or 3 decent tracks, but it all kind of drifts by in a haze of blandness. I enjoy shoegaze at it´s most expansive, and this really lacks some of the stuff I enjoy in the genre.

Production is perfect imo, but this does have its flaws for sure. The initial magic wore off so I'm gonna drop this to a strong 4, but its still an amazing album with a lot of potential for them to grow into something even better than Sunbather.
