Wildlife is AOTD tier. Jordan has never sounded so passionate, and that includes this album. The riff from I See Everything has never left my head since I first heard it. I was a bit frosty toward Rooms when it released but it has some cool chiller tracks and you can see the seeds for Panorama planted there.

Huh. The debut is the only one I’ve heard so far and I thought it was pretty brilliant (particularly musically — vocals could be grating at times and the lyrics cringe). Gonna check the rest of their discog soon.

Yeah I definitely cringed numerous times, but I loved a lot of it as well. Maybe once I listen to their other albums I’ll understand more.

absolutely, but the lyrical melodrama and cheesiness totally fits the all-over-the-place musical arrangements. and they're pretty good at doing that

eh the over-the-place is a symptom of the cheesiness not the other way around. I like this band a lot more when they figure out what restraint is and lose the cringe
