that’s what I meant yeah, it takes too long to reach that last section. I find the chorus on heartbeats a little grating. other than that, though, love everything else

while this falls for some, its been growing on me.
but to bring back the "radio-core" discussion, when I was playing this, one of my roommates thought I was playing Kings of Leon, and then a completely different time another roommate thought I was playing Arcade Fire. sooooo
Five Cups should definitely be shorter, more compact. lots of good ideas there tho

Glad to see i’m not the only one who doesn’t fawn over Five Cups. It’s a solid track for sure- but like, for a band that really knows how to do ambient/post rock super well I found this kinda not diving deep enough. Album’s still a rager tho.

I agree with anyone who says Five Cups would be better shorter, namely by abridging the bit in the middle. The track's core beginning and ending are two of the best moments on the album, it just meanders too long in between them.
