Yeah the drums in this are so plastic and robotic, don't know if this is real drums or a drum machine but it definitely sounds like a cheap drum machine either way

With the amount of complaints I see about the drums for this particular album, it's like no one's heard a metal album released after 2010.

The drums are the worst part of the production here. The bass drums sound awful

Maybe I'm desensitized, but the drums on this sound perfectly serviceable

Check out Oubliette - The Passage released this year. Same guitarist from Inferi and same melodeath/black kinda thing but with a female vocalist.

Idk friends. The multiple listens along the year have been really relaxing and cool.

If you check their t/T videoclip you see them ironically dressed up as 70's psychedelic hipsters, which gave me a cool twist of "funny fellas", but also their wide-broad influences.

Can understand things like that can worn off ppl a bit though...

Yeah, Monarchy bangs for sure.

This ends up feeling much less inspired in comparison and considerably stripped-back.

yeah I mean...users comments here don't really match the rate on the site, or the opinions and reviews outside sputnik, so it will always be a lost fight for me.
