Damn, I'm liking the new album a good bit more than this one the first listen. I wish Lush Rimbaugh was left off of it though because it feels like a gimmick song.

Might have to 2.5 the new one in solidarity for my bros in Counterparts.

But seriously not sure how I feel about it. It’s not bad but also nothing stuck out at all. It just kinda played

I think from a songwriting standpoint new album might edge out this one a bit and be a better representation of the early 2000's post-hardcore sound they were aiming to replicate here.

That being said, the production is atrocious. Everything sounds so digital and Buddy's voice is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy over processed.

Buddy's clean vox these days are painfully bad imo, weird that they went to shit and his scream still sounds great when it usually the exact opposite for most ppl

Yeah Buddy's voice is way overdone. It kind of ruined the From the Depths of Dreams redo. It lost all its edge.

I think Hell in Your Head is better than this since I like the obvious Let It Enfold you influences on it but yeah I'm with nash in that the way they fucked over the supporting bands on their tour and didn't give a shit left a bad taste in my mouth.

I think it’s Buddy’s vocals that are killing it for me yeah. But not even production the hooks just aren’t there for me. Some of these riffs are very older school them which I appreciate but the vocals and lyrics are doing nothing for me at all

rush limbaugh is for the most part pretty mediocre but the back half of its bridge is really strong

I'm still waiting for new Bayonet. I haven't loved SF since Renacer.

The Burial of the Dead, Death by Water, What the Thunder Said, and I Am Error are the biggest standouts to me but I legit like every song. I can't imagine someone liking this album but not being a fan of Hell Is In Your Head, vocal production aside.

Listening to the new album now. First track isn't blowing me away, but I love the energy and chorus of End of the World.
