Country on average is no more boring than any other major genre and at its height is pretty much the best thing ever (though I could see a case for it having a lower variance than some genres i.e. having more stuff clustered toward the middle).

Boney I've basically got you to thank for how much country has grown on me over the past few years - I even 5'd a country-ish album not too long ago (Shannen Moser's I'll Sing, released last year)



Not sure which of the two versions I prefer as of now but they're both great. I feel like this is the perfect time of year for Phoebe to be releasing new music, too - I listened to this album a couple nights ago and it scratched one hell of an itch, fits fall/winter like a glove.
