I would prefer they write a new album tbh, but this will suffice, for now, the preview of the live performance does sound pretty awesome though

Yeah they love just not releasing music and putting out new merch instead
|
| |
Agreed. It’s frustrating how much they take their time between releases.

This is one of those times where the sarcasm is so fucking tight I can't tell if it is sarcasm lol

You're paying for an experience, alright? You can even buy a physical copy of the ticket. To hang in your room. Or something.

"Yeah they love just not releasing music and putting out new merch instead"
People actually buy merch.

@bloc LOL right?
Rushing music gives us releases like Intrinsic. They can take their time.

If it's anything like the EP they released a few years back I'll be so excited.

No but seriously, were don and Teal being sarcastic? I'm still wondering.

I would rather a band take five or six years to put out something worth living to than just shitting something out every year (cough*Weezer*cough).

Weezer has made the same song for 20 years.

Metal bands love taking 5 years between albums

There's no return on investment for churning out albums every 1-2 years.

I've only jammed Apparition and the debut full length but recall digging them. Gonna have to check this

“There's no return on investment for churning out albums every 1-2 years.”
Yeah those days are long gone. It still blows my mind what Sabbath, Zep, and The Beatles were able to accomplish over the course of a few years.

You can accomplish a lot when you only have to spend 6 months promoting an album on tour, don't have to work a second job, and can afford to pay someone to handle the entire business side of marketing, promotion, contracts, studio booking, tour booking, and so on and so forth.

I feel like Sabbath sorta had it easy there at the beginning. They had no peers! Iommi invented metal riffs and became a factory, churning them out like nothing.
The Coke helped, too, I'm sure.
