That’s one of them flattering photos where you think you’re onto a right winner and then you meet up with the bird and she’s about 18 stone.

In all honesty I never did the internet dating thing, I just used to go for any old bag of bolts down the pub. Ahhh they were the days.

Who the fuck am I to have a artistic opinion on something born of a pain and loss so devastating and far from anything I have ever experienced

Yeah I'm thinking about doing that too. Like, I could assign a rating based on the music and emotional impact and I've tried going through the songs and doing the same, but... what's the point yknow?

This one makes it feel wrong to just analyze idk

All y'all claiming A Crow Looked at Me is some special thing that transcends music and ranking and rating need to get your heads out of your asses, it's just a fucking album.

Lol. For me it's more that the album is like an audiobook. let's be honest, this isn't super engaging songwriting in the conventional sense, and I'm not eager to replay select tracks, nor do I remember any highlights save for the heartbreaking lyrics. I don't really derive much enjoyment from listening to it. However this is a very cathartic experience front-to-back (which is really the only way to listen to it) and gets me pretty choked up at points. So yeah, seemingly impossible to land on a rating. I have to be in a very specific mood to listen to it and that's very rare

I wouldn't say it's musically engaging, but it's not like the music doesn't exist. But yeah I definitely know what you mean
