Sm4sh is more offense/combo-based, but still doesn't have any large combos and is still based heavily in neutral. Not as bad as Brawl where you can only get one hit at a fucking time.



64 is really campy b/c of hitstun in that game. The punish game the whole cast has on each other is ridiculous and at top level, a hit almost certainly leads to immediate death.

Honestly, I personally find it easier to play competitive Brawl than Sm4sh. Something about Sm4sh just makes it really unresponsive in a weird way.



64 is always fun to watch if you want to give it a try, just because the dumb punish game is hilarious to watch. Isai I think is attending and he's always a treat.



Def gonna watch Melee ofc. Heart wants M2K/HBox to snag it but it'd be pretty fucking incredible for Mango and Armada to miraculously meet in GFs again.



Armada could potentially get a 3peat at this tournament. Dude's a legend.

So he invalidated Norcal and looks solid going into G4



His Samus is still warmed up and ready if he wants to use it. He still plays her quite a bit.

Luigi is just so fascinating. Not only does he have plenty of jank (invisible ceiling glitch lol), but he functions in such a unique manner. Because of his properties (slow ground mobility, bad aerial mobility, longest wavedash in the game) he has to structure his approaches and combo games in a way different from the entire cast.



Plus, hearing this tall, skinny plumber guy shouting "YA YA YA" as he slides impossibly fast across the screen is hilarious.
