Nah I show the R40 tour, and just in time too. One of the best experiences of my life hands down.

Yeah CA had a really great setlist, Middletown Dreams was one they'd regularly switch with Manhattan Project but I'm so glad they played the former

grand designs was a fucking gem to have in there as well

Grand Designs was actually the one I was most pumped for honestly, along with Red Sector A and Territories. Performance was on point as usual

agreed Shoteru.....for me it was middletown, grand designs, territories, and the body electric......mostly because i've never seen those songs performed live by them

Ah they didn't play Body Electric at mine, pretty gutted but I'm glad I got something from GUP at least. Was hoping they'd play Seven Cities too but I'm pretty sure they ended up playing almost everything from CA other than that...

The bass line in Marathon is so good

Geddy surely knew how to take advantage of the synths without ignoring the importance of the bass.

I feel like Rush played Marathon every single time I saw them, except R40. Marathon is one of my wife's favorite songs of all time. Her first Rush show? R40. No Marathon. She was crushed!
I told her before the tour "Oh, they ALWAYS play that. You will see it for sure."
Dang!

i don't remember Marathon being played outside of the Time Machine Tour in quite some time

Well, that makes sense, as I hadn't seen them since then until R40! I missed a ton of tours before R40. My first tour was HYF, and I say them pretty consistently from then on out until around the time of Test for Echo.

Way too fast!
I am thinking they actually did NOT play it on the last tour in the 90s I saw them on. I forget which record that was, but Candlebox opened. Counterparts, must be. Pretty sure they didn't play it then, now that I ahve put some thought into it.
