@sowing the reason a lot of people dislike this (apart from that it's just not that good) is that it totally squanders the potential Sempi had as a diverse, interesting metalcore album and basically shits on all the progress they'd made as a band up to that point, which had actually been pretty great to follow from generic shit to interesting

@Snide nah, it wasn't. Sure they were moving away from metalcore, but not towards cheesy Coldplay-pop which had none of their original quirks
