the production on the drums for this is fantastic. However, I will say the drums seems to swallow a lot of the sound on here.

Drums on Negative One are great, Jay is a fine replacement for Joey while he gets off the booze or whatever.

I actually prefer his style more than joey tbh

I'm no big fan of Slipknot, but Joey was freakin' incredible with them.

Honestly, they could have swapped drummers privately and I would not have cared. Whilst i prefer joey too, I don't think it's of any significance to make or break an album

They play the same style overall anyhow so it's hardly a difference.

Yeah, it's like Mangini in DT. Slight difference but if the product is broken to begin with, he isn't going to do anything that will fix it, especially when he's basically doing the exact same thing

I feel the same with Exodus too although John Tempesta was their best drummer imo.

Yeah it's not as if Joey ever had a particularly distinct style.

Joey's talented and all and was certainly part of the band's image, but if I hadn't known that he had left when I listened to this album I wouldn't have been able to tell

HOGAB is the best thing Corey's done since Vol 3 and probably the last great thing he'll ever do.

For the time, Tuna, Joey's style was incredible. I also completely disagree to people saying Joey's style wasn't significant enough; this is one of those rare bands where the drummer stands out, and everything up to AHIG his style was essential to the bands sound.

I prefer Jay's style more, but I can't say Joey wasn't one of - if not - the most important part of making this bands sound, because he definitely was.

was jamming Opium of the People the other day and I honestly wish they'd make more songs like that. The guitarwork in that song is extremely good, especially when you realize its a Slipknot song

I think I'm gonna lower my rating, cuz I don't ever want to hear this again, and I'm pretty sure a 2.5 is too high
