This is their best work, and I also think this album essentially paved the way for the genre. Without this, there's no Lumiere, or either Novelists album (as well as the plethora of bands who try to rewrite this album and suck). Impulse feels like a not fully realized vision of this, and Drift feels like a minimalistic version of this, in an attempt to try something different. I'm very interested to see what direction this band is going to head toward in the future, although I doubt anything they do will come close to being as good as this.
