Some of the songs on The Bends after the first two tracks that aren’t ballads, especially the louder songs, are just ok and no better than a lot of Pablo Honey tbh, tho PH isn’t bad.

Hmm, I don't know. I think they're at least a definite upgrade of the PH sound. Except for Blow Out, You and Creep every The Bends track is better than PH I'd say.
