I used to watch the Others on VHS when I was like 7 and I loved it though

I haven't seen any of the VHS films. Most horror films these days are pretty shitty so I only see them if they are critically well received

When I was 7 the twist at the end was literally the greatest thing I had ever seen
I've heard mountains of praise about There Will be Blood so yea

Some sweet horror movies from recently: Mama, Sinister, Orphan

Mama had a weird story but you can't deny that it was fantastically directed, del Toro just knows how to make things look gorgeous
Sinister had a really cool plot and Ethan Hawke is a badass
Orphan wasn't the most original of films but it was a fun watch and again very well directed and acted
The Conjuring was really good too but every single one of the Paranormal Activity movies can fuck riiiiiiiiiiiiiight off
