Can't remember a second of that album. Hope it's not at all like Pale Communion.

Really? That's the last thing I would notice on here.

You're fucking kidding me, this one of my favourite drum performances ever.

I'm not a drummer and I don't know anything about drumming from a technical standpoint but the drumming on here is up there with the best I've heard from a personal preference point of view. It's definitely my favourite thing about this album.

crazy amount of groove and feel and dynamics and creativity and just pure awesomeness. I'm a drummer too, not that it matters though. I just wish I could play like this ugh

Drumming is just way easier to get into lol

I've only ever heard 1 song from this but also speaking as a drummer (I'm mostly a bass player but yea) I don't remember the drumming impressing me that much, but than I prob wasn't paying enough attention cause I tuned out as the went on

I've been drumming for 16 years and if I didn't drum, I would find it good (I admit). Axenrot is talented but he doesn't exactly show his flair on here. Lopez was and will always be the best drummer for this band. He had this unrivaled style with subtle odd time signatures and mixed it up so well with jazz/ prog rock.

I prefer Axenrot's performance on here to anything Lopez has ever done, like it's not even close. Lopez is a great drummer
though for sure, I just love Axe's style on here. Haven't been amazed by anything else he's played on though, hoping his
performance on the new Opeth album will change that.

Like all them jazzy fills and beats he performs on 'Haxprocess', amazing.
