theres never been a hip hop disc this consistent imo, never one so perfectly crafted, never one where the vocal performance was not only one of the best ever, but the production itself the best as well



the producers gave some of their best beats in each of their respective careers, and nas matched the template for the perfect rap record with a vocal performance that he's not only never topped in any other release, but one that only few have matched, in my opinion.



In fact, as I got more into hiphop, I began to treasure this even more. it's worth all the hype surrounding it.
