this is finally growing on me, but i think some of my favorite moments come from the instruments, not Dreyer. But he's still as melodramatic as usual so i can dig that

This album just feels empty to me. How a band that is supposed to be so emotionally gripping can sound this uninspired is beyond me. The instrumentation on this is awful. I'll stick to the Here, Hears because those rule.

While I disagree that it's empty and emotionless, I can see where you're coming from.
Dreyer's voice does seem to lack the intensity it had, especially in Somewhere at the Bottom, but it's still superb, and I feel the whole band just shines in Wildlife.
