As I Am is weakest here agreed

This Dying Soul almost has the same incohesion problem The Shattered Fortress suffers from in my opinion. Yet it's saved by the awesome variations on the Repentance riff.

Wow, fuck, I just realized I've been confusing Honor with In The Name Of God. Yeah, Honor... isn't stunning but I wouldn't dismiss it too. In The Name is really good and I was talking about this song's bridge before.

Honor Thy Father is the worst DT song ever.

Theres worse, but yeah its shitty.

Honor Thy Father is great before the first chorus comes out. I mean, that syncopated riff at the beginning and the first couple of verses are promising at least.

It's way below average considering how great some other DT stuff is.

Honor Thy Father is very promising and if you manage to ignore the voice effects and and the cheesy parts, you're left with a really energetic song that never made it. It's a regret.

I might can see your point there, I just personally don't agree. I was talking more like any average music in general. This is not it

There is nothing redeemable about Honor thy father

DT stuff is almost never average as those guys are just awesome musicians, that's why I still have this at a 3 which means good actually. But I also think you have to take into account the band's standards in general when rating an album and this doesn't live up to their usual quality.
