Such a great band live, We Bros, Spitting Blood and Heavy Pop was amazing. Also bought Go Tell Fire to the Mountain from Ellery Roberts.

Yeah seeing them live made me appreciate this record so much more than I had previously. I've said it a few times in this thread, but Ellery's vocals have improved so much since this was recorded.

Listened to this again today after a long time and it just reminded me why this is my favorite from 2011. What an amazing record!

I'm going to see these bros at the Union Transfer in Philly in an hour. Should be fucking awesome. I forgot just how insanely good this album is, and I really dig the sincerity and ambition to beome "more than just a band."

Does anyone else hear a striking resmblance between the song "L Y F" and the song "I'll Be Your Mirror" by the Velvet Underground? I was trying for a long time to place my finger on where I'd heard the melody before. I notice it in particular in comparing the organ in "L Y F" to the vocal rhythm of Nico in the chorus of "I'll Be Your Mirror." I'm not suggesting they ripped off the Velvet Underground, but the similarity is definitely there.
