Not to be a killjoy but the hype for this is a little undeserved. I like Kanye plenty and I've heard this seven times now so I think I can finally give a fairly informed opinion on on it now. So Appalled is a terrible song, All the pretty lights is just pandering for radio play, devil in a new dress is instantly forgettable, the songs are too long, the bit with Chris rock is a waste of space, ect. Its definitely not a bad album, in fact its pretty good, many of the songs are very good, but the kind of reception (look at all those 4.5's and 5's)this has generated across the web seems very excessive to me. I'd give it a low 3.5/ high 3 for now, I just get the feeling that this is going to be wearing off a lot of people pretty fast.

Well, I don't know.. for me, it actually gets better with each listen. I had put it down for two days and was thinking that maybe it had grown off me, but I listened to it today and was blown away all over again.
Considering that I've never really cared for Kanye's work in the past (aside from a few cuts from College Dropout/Late Registration), I think that for me the hype is well deserved.

the production on that track has a really cool sinister sound to it and everyone's delivery on it fits it perfectly, its just really solid i dont see how anyone could dislike it.
