i know a 4.1 isn't underrated, but it still blows my mind how many albums are rated higher than this



i used to think this was one of his lesser albums but elliott was really pushing his sound to new heights here, and production wise it seems like he took what he learned doing XO and turned into something even more expansive & cohesive

Junk bond trader chord progression (same progression for everything except the bridge lol) is so fucking cool. The way the fsus quickly changes to the F then steps up to (i think the c#m) is so different. Elliott was the man.
