i saw circa live and they were pretty good. played too much off this album and not enough off juturna.

i think this album is freaking great for an "indie rock" record.
but i think circa really achieved something special on "on letting go"
it had an atmosphere to it that was completely unique to them
it was their sound and it was amazing... i'm kinda disappointed they ditched that to be more accessible.
frozen creek is an excellent song

You know what's really a special kind of bad? The half-assed, lazy version of "I Felt Free" in the deluxe edition of this album. I don't know why I still buy the deluxe version of albums even though I've been burned so many times.
