they last few songs on this kind of drag, otherwise it would be a 5 for sure

"I left my heart to the wild hunt a-comin'/I live until the call/and I plan to be forgotten when I'm gone/Yes I'll be leavin' in the fall."

I love this album, and that line resonates strongly with me because I will be, hopefully, leaving this fucking place in September.

God can be funny,

When told he’ll give you money if you just pray the right way

And when presented like a genie who does magic like Houdini

Or grants wishes like Jiminy Cricket and Santa Claus

God can be so hilarious

uuuhuhhhhh

I feel kinda bad that The Tallest Man on Earth will never be remembered for his work, that collectively; critics will never appreciate what he has done in years to come and he will die, and be forgotten to most.

It's very sad to think this because; if he wrote music before Dylan; then it would be the other way around. Because the comparison (as stupid and ill informed as it is) exists; Kristian Matsson will never be treated with the wide respect he deserves.

Uhhh, to be honest I think he is doing quite well with recognition. I mean, Matsson is really the biggest (no pun intended) thing in folk at the moment. You want go buy a real folk listener without his name being mentioned.

His exposure is exactly how it should be. He shouldn't have to force his music upon you, you should be the one that stumbles across him.

Also listen to this awesome cover: http://www.youtube.com/v/E08FifRfi6A&hl
