Going to the show Thursday night—will be my 8th NIN concert. Some of the best shows I’ve been to have been NIN shows so pretty hyped.

One and only time I’ve seen them was at Red Rocks… I hope I get the chance again but I’m honestly perfectly fine with that being my only NIN show. It was beyond perfect and I don’t think anything would live up to it

Hell yeah man, that must have been incredible. Best show I saw was when they were at Hollywood palladium with soundgarden. Soundgarden was alright (I’m a huge fan but were kinda lethargic that night) but NIN was phenomenal.

Would be cool as heck to see NIN live still! This album is usually something I would listen to one cd only hehe in my haze, I forget what one I like better. But Just Like I Imagined is incredible. The second cd has Complication. *Looking* and "shooting from the hip" I'll take the second cd over the first. Starfuckers I think is the gold medal for most people and its good, but there is a lot of other really atmsospheric songs like "The Mark has Been Made" and "Where is Everybody."

Seeing them live has me on a real NIN kick and I got two hot takes:
This is better than Downward Spiral and possibly the greatest double album of all time
and
It’s crazy that Pretty Hate Machine is rocking a 4 avg here… that album is not that good guys. Honestly probably my least favorite NIN aside from The Slip. I would take literally all of their EPs over it too, especially Broken, but Bad Witch, Add Violence, and Not the Actual Events are all better too tbh

“possibly the greatest double album of all time” [2].
PHM is better than Hesitation Marks imo. But yes, all their EPs rule harder.

Pretty Hate Machine is that good
The Slip is underrated - it is also that good

I know it sounds outrageous, but I’d take The Slip over Year Zero. Not by much tho.

not really outrageous to me - think I have them rated the same but I generally gravitate towards and spend more time with The Slip than Year Zero these days
and jeez I didn't even realize how bad it was... 3.3 average - make that very underrated

The slip made me lost interest in NIN for almost a decade. It seemed so uninspired.

Yeah im with you on that, I feel like a lot of people say that about With Teeth but that applies to the Slip way more
