It may be more of the same. I think it's worth listening to 'We Are Young' when it is released on Tuesday and see if you like the change (if there is one)

Sounds like a project. Thanks man.

Yeah, well there have been times where I hate the debut but liked the sophomore album. It happens. Certainly will be different if Janelle Monae does vocals on it.

Based on the live version, it'll be REALLY interesting to find out where on earth Janelle fits in

I know, that's what I'm wondering too. O.o Unless they changed the song considerably.

they probably did
i imagine nate writes songs and then goes to record them and adds about fifty tangents to them anyway

Cover art is up on Facebook.

Well; it's streaming now on Facebook.
Sucks hard. Sounds worse than All Time Low.
First minute is great; then it's an abomination.

Ahh I'm at school right now and can't listen. Reading quite a bit of neg on Facebook. So scared. Listening the second I get home.

hmmm. i think it'll maybe be a grower. it depends on what the rest of the album will be like. feels
like fun. meets matt and kim or the naked and famous or something. i don't like the whole like pulse
through the whole song thing. wish it had more buildups and such. that's one of my favorite things
about fun.

Sounds like poo.

You'll all fall off your chairs to learn I love it.

I would've thought you wouldn't like it, but that was before I had a conversation with you in person about why you actually liked 'Every Teardrop is a Waterwall'. So, I legitimately expected it...
Unfortunately, I like Every Teardrop now too so you might be ahead of the curve, idk

well that was a major disappointment =/

I think it's fairly obvious that I am, indeed, ahead of the curve.

The Format would never lower themselves to the chicanery heard on fun's new track

Think I'm gonna end up siding with Knott on this one. It's growing too much. Probably just not the best choice as the first reveal of highly anticipated new material. I'm really doubting this will be the style of the whole album, and it should be awesome as just one song that takes on this feel.
|
| |
It's easily worse than any song on this album. I'm fearing that they'll have a Panic!-esque sophomore slump now =/

It's possible, but I'm keeping an open-mind. Definitely still buying it day of release to support them and hopefully love it.
