There's still one song that gets me every time I play it (mostly because of sentimental attachment) "Time of Your Life". And although it's one of my favourite songs, I just can't bring myself to sit down and listen to an entire Green Day CD - especially their last two.

With a pile of terrible lyrics in one corner and a berated and recycled look in the other, we have one terrible disappointment for an album.
I genuinely feel as though American Idiot was their last true 'Hurrah!' and from now on it's all looking to be three tired old men (and poor Jason White) working to retirement.
21 Guns was, in layman's terms, decent, but aside from two or three other tracks 21st Century Breakdown was a mess, a boring one at that.
