I mean, I wouldn't disagree. I just think this is among their best works but not necessarily one I'd separate with that much distance.

Admittedly I never intensively binged on this band as it's not a personal favorite, but I tend to be more drawn to the early albums especially and Narrow Stairs too. Basically I'm not as much talking down on this but rather giving love to the others too haha.

me in 2009: the title track is the best thing ever but tiny vessels is overrated

me in 2019: tiny vessels is amazing but the title track is boring and overrated and the "come on" section is pretty lame

I'll admit it's been awhile since I've listened to it in full.

False luci. If growing up means this album will lose its impact than I don’t want to grow up.

The title track is a godsend. No contest here. There’s nothing wrong with growing up with a song and still liking 10 years later don’t let people tell you that.

Entire run from "Tiny Vessels" through "Passenger Seat" is a godsend - one of the best three-track stretches I've ever heard

The title track is absolutely stellar. Definitely the best song here. The centerpiece.

I did! As we drove through the city with the family I had this playing. By the time the t/t was on there were fireworks. Good night I'd say!

It's a sort of ritual that brings us sputbois closer together.

if i had to pick one album to encapsulate high school for me despite only listening to it for one of those years, this album might be it

This thing sounds so fucking good. What the hell happened to his voice after this? Their production also got a whole lot worse.

Take out "Death of an Interior Decorator" and it flows perfectly

this may be a fact unknown to many, but in many countries it's actually forbidden to listen to this album before autumn and after winter.

This is a classic.
Makes me remember driving long distances with the wife while listening to this. Perfect album for that kind of stuff.
